I am not a proponent of restriction and denial because it doesn’t work long term (and life should be enjoyed!). My approach is based on taking small steps to “crowd out” sugary and processed foods with nutritious, delicious options that are quick and easy to make.
As a Health Coach, my approach is holistic. I’ll support you to identify what is at the root of emotional eating patterns that could be holding you back, and connect the dots of how different parts of your life influence your behaviour.
Is stress at work causing you to overeat or reach for sugar? Does enjoying a meal out with friends bring up feelings of guilt and mean you throw healthy eating out the window completely?
I will help you to find your own healthy balance, so you feel the amazing benefits of a healthy eating routine but you are able to mindfully enjoy treats and meals out, without the cycle of guilt and yo-yo motivation that can take up so much of our mental space. Finding this balance really is the key to sustaining your habits long term.
I equip clients with the knowledge, self-awareness and skills needed to get in touch with your own body's needs, and to deconstruct cravings, so you truly learn what makes you feel at your best. You will feel empowered and in control even when life throws you curveballs.

CONCEPTS WE WILL EXPLORE
Many diets dictate a list of foods to avoid and foods to eat, which explains why so many people are turned off by nutrition. My approach is different – by eating and drinking foods that are good for you, you will naturally have less room and desire for unhealthy foods. Simply put, you will crowd out the unhealthy food in your diet. This takes a little practice to make happen, but I will support you along the way.
Cravings play a critical role in understanding what your body needs. When you learn how to deconstruct your cravings and understand what they’re really telling you, you will be able to reclaim a sense of balance and harmony.
Your health is impacted by all areas of your life, not just what's on your plate. As a holistic coach, I understand the importance of reducing stress and creating balance to improve health and help you make better food choices. I work with clients to look at different aspects of their life from relationships and career, to hobbies and exercise, to identify areas that are lacking fulfilment or causing underlying stress. Together, we will come up with practical steps to achieve change.
The concept of bio-individuality is the idea that each of us has unique food and lifestyle needs. That’s why fad diets tend to fail in the long run.
